Desserts - Key Lime Pie (Low Cal.) Posted by Sherry 2 packages sugarless Key Lime jello (or whatever flavor you choose) 2 small (6 oz.) containers of Key Lime yogurt (or whatever flavor matches the jello) 1 tub fat free Cool Whip 2 Graham Cracker crusts
Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water. Add 1 cup ice cubes. Stir until thickened. Remove any remaining ice. Add yogurt. Stir until smooth. Add Cool Whip. Stir again until smooth. Pour evenly into the crusts and refrigerate until set.
Hint: I tried to cut this recipe in half and it didn't do well for me.
I did add a little fresh lime zest and it did kick it up to a fresher and stronger flavor. it depends on how much you like lime. |
