 Side Dishes - Oven Roasted Potatoes - Olson OriginsPrevious Next [Print] 
1 packet onion soup mix (1 oz)
5-6 potatoes, medium
     (peeled, cut into chunks)
1 onion, chopped
Non-stick cooking spray, butter flavored

Preheat oven:  450,  Spray shallow baking dish with non-stick spray
Combine soup mix, potatoes and onion, mix/stir until the soup mix is well distributed on all potatoes. Place the potatoes in the prepared baking dish, and spray the potatoes lightly with non-stick cooking spray (butter flavored).  Bake 40-45 minutes until browned and tender, stirring occasionally.

Option
On the Lipton Onion Soup Mix packet, there's a similar recipe for "onion roasted potatoes."  It uses only 4 potatoes and no onions.  Then it uses 1/3 cup olive oil instead of the spray--just mix the potatoes, soup mix and olive oil together and bake at 425 for 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
